One of my biggest free thinking pet peeves is the puritanical, small-minded and often dangerous approach the religious majority has toward sexuality. As one who is willing to make a conscious choice to decide for one's self, I encourage you to carefully consider what you think about - and how you react toward - such an important part of humanity.

Merry Christmas, Damn It!
As with every Christmas season, we non-Christians are getting the church's ownership of everyone's favorite holiday shoved down our throats. I am encountering these snobbish messages everywhere, from chain email letters to billboards. Emphasizing the "Christ" part of Christmas as if the rest of the world was not aware of it's presence is elitist and even intolerant. You don't see the Jews posting billboards containing snide comments about Hanukkah, do you? How about Kwanzaa?
